In Vegas Vacation (1997), the Griswold family embarks on their fourth vacation adventure filled with hilarious mishaps and crazy adventures in Las Vegas. As the Griswolds arrive in Sin City, they quickly become consumed by the overwhelming atmosphere of dazzling lights, high stakes gambling, and outrageous excess.

Clark Griswold, played by Chevy Chase, is determined to make their family vacation memorable and win a large cash prize by participating in a game show. However, his luck takes a turn for the worse when he loses all their savings at the blackjack table. Meanwhile, his wife Ellen, played by Beverly D'Angelo, becomes the target of an eccentric high-roller who believes she is his good luck charm.

As chaos ensues, their teenage daughter Audrey, played by Marisol Nichols, falls in love with a suave and manipulative lounge singer, while their son Rusty, played by Ethan Embry, explores Vegas' adult entertainment scene with his fake ID. The Griswolds encounter various outrageous characters, including a thief impersonating Clark's friend and a flamboyant casino boss.

Through their misadventures, the Griswolds learn valuable life lessons about the importance of family and the true meaning of happiness.
