Syrup is a witty and fast-paced comedy based on Max Barry's novel. The film follows a clever slacker who stumbles upon a brilliant million-dollar idea. However, in order to bring his idea to fruition, he must learn to trust his attractive corporate counterpart.
The protagonist, Scat, is an ambitious but unmotivated young man who spends most of his time working on his various creative projects. One day, he develops a groundbreaking idea for a new carbonated drink, and he teams up with a seductive marketing executive named 6, who seems to have ulterior motives.
As Scat navigates the cutthroat world of advertising, he learns that trust is a valuable currency. With 6's help, he manages to secure a deal with a big corporate company to produce and market his drink. However, as the stakes get higher, Scat begins to question 6's loyalty and wonders if she is taking advantage of him.
