Dr. Miller, Uncle Louis, Mrs. Werner and writer Harry - four classic characters. Who is evil and who is good - it is not entirely clear. But it requires the youngsters Kaj, Peter, Marianne and six year old Tommy to figure it out during an eventful summer on idyllic Kullen in Skåne. Espionage, mysterious lights and strange code words suddenly become a part of everyday life, but also wild hunts in min shafts, kidnapping and nighttime burglary. It will be a summer they will never forget.

Samson is a young whale that doesn't have friends. He spends his time listening to his mother's stories about the legendary whale Moby Dick. Samson becomes fascinated about it and decides to go on a journey to find Moby Dick.

With their parents on vacation, Tommy and Annika spend time with their wonderful friend Pippi Longstocking at her cottage Villa Villekulla, until she finds a bottle with a message from her father Captain Efraim Longstocking, who warns her that he was captured by a band of evil pirates led by Blood-Svente and Jock the Knife, who hold him prisoner in their castle on the island of Porto Piluse, so they can find the secret location of his treasure. Pippi, Tommy and Annika then travel to Porto Piluse to rescue her father before he is forced to reveal the whereabouts of his treasure...

Karlsson is a very short, very portly and overconfident man who lives in a small house hidden behind a chimney on the roof of a very ordinary apartment building, on a very ordinary street in Stockholm. When Karlsson pushes a button on his stomach, it starts a clever little motor with a propeller on his back allowing him to fly. Karlsson is the best at everything, at least according to himself. But there is, in fact, one thing at which he excels: being a playmate to a young boy named Svante, but nicknamed Lillebror (little brother), who lives in the apartment building with his family. Karlsson is quite mischievous, often getting Lillebror in trouble, but everyone in the end - even Lillebror's family, his cranky uncle, and their dour housekeeper - grow to like Karlsson and appreciate his sense of humour, energy, and good nature.

Granhyttan in Sweden used to have rich mines. One day a suspicious couple, Signe and Orvar, arrives in the small town and retires in a purged hut. Nobody knows what they up to; but strange things starts to happen when a young boy, Staffan, finds a piece of shining metal, while playing in a mine.
