Ben Keller has always had feelings for Lucy, his childhood friend and coworker, but she has never reciprocated his affection. However, their dynamic changes when Ben unexpectedly wins $36 million in the Iowa lottery. What Lucy doesn't know is that Ben is a serial killer who has murdered the young woman who purchased the winning ticket.

Despite Ben's dark secret, Lucy agrees to marry him. However, during their honeymoon, Lucy discovers Ben's murderous past. She realizes that he specifically targets women who resemble her, making her a potential target.
