Coriolanus, a renowned Roman soldier, finds himself at odds with the citizens of Rome, who are starving and demanding food. His disdain for the people fuels a violent uprising, plunging the city into chaos. Despite his military prowess, Coriolanus is outmaneuvered by both politicians and his own mother, Volumnia. Eventually, he is banished from Rome.

Desperate to regain his purpose and honor, Coriolanus seeks an alliance with his sworn enemy, Tullus Aufidius. He offers his life or his services to Aufidius, who sees an opportunity to exploit Coriolanus' skills.

Coriolanus joins forces with Aufidius and together, they lead an assault against Rome. As the battle ensues, Coriolanus is torn between his loyalty to Rome and his thirst for vengeance. He must decide whether to stay true to his roots or succumb to his hatred.
