In Bait (2000), an ex-convict named Alvin Sanders finds himself caught up in a high-stakes operation when the police recruit him to serve as bait in a dangerous game. After witnessing a robbery committed by a notorious criminal named Bristol, Alvin unwittingly becomes the key to capturing him. Working closely with an undercover officer named Edgar, Alvin agrees to wear a recording device and participate in a fake gold coin scam in order to lure Bristol out of hiding.
